Lance "Scurv" Scurvin is an illustrator/writer/speaker/activist, who, through his provocative cartoons & expressions, prides himself on tackling the tough issues of the present day head on that others are deathly afraid to touch. His politically incorrect & gritty urban flavored style of visuals pulls no punches with an explosive & brutal honesty that has swiftly made him an underground Internet favorite, earning him the title of "Amerikkka's Most Outspoken Artist."

Although his work often forces one to face the many awkward aspects of class, sexism and race relations, he is equally interested in boldly championing the cause of those who feel they have no choice but to endure and accept the many grave injustices in our society.

Born and raised in the Jamaica Queens section of New York City but currently residing in sunny Orlando Florida, the man affectionately known by his ever growing number of loyal fans as "Scurv" draws from the many colorful experiences and unique challenges in his life growing up as an outspoken Black man in the United States of America who has always been known for thinking outside of the box.

More than just the stereotypically "angry guy" with a deep rooted vendetta towards a crooked system full of imagined conspiracies, Scurv shrewdly fuses his tremendously detailed artistic skills, humorous wit and frighteningly accurate insight on the human condition magically to insure the viewer completely assimilates the intended madness of a particular sketch with no choice but to walk away with a better understanding & appreciation of his often controversial viewpoints.

Even if one refuses to agree with the messages imbedded his work, it must be agreed that Lance Scurvin's creative honesty is a refreshing change in a medium that has failed in its responsibility to challenge the docile thinking of the masses. Whether it be a celebrity, politician, life situation or current event that Mr. Scurvin chooses to focus on in his work, it is almost guaranteed to be what is being discussed passionately in beauty parlors and barber shops all over the land whether the so called mainstream media chooses to acknowledge it or not.
